In the co-creation workshop of the MELIORA project, organized by INCLIVA and the European Health Management Association (EHMA), various stakeholders from across Europe participated, including breast cancer patients, survivors, women at risk, policymakers, and healthcare professionals. The aim of the meeting was to collaboratively develop strategies for breast cancer prevention.

During the workshop, critical aspects of prevention were discussed. First, socioeconomic and cultural barriers impacting healthy and active living in Europe were examined, with the goal of developing more effective prevention strategies. Second, behaviors and factors that can support a healthier lifestyle, contributing to a reduction in breast cancer risk, were identified.

Additionally, emphasis was placed on the adaptation of digital tools and artificial intelligence, such as MELIORA’s Virtual Coach, to meet users’ needs. Finally, participants collaborated to develop strategies that would facilitate the acceptance and implementation of the project’s solutions.

The involvement of all was crucial for the discussion and formulation of proposals that could lead to significant changes in breast cancer prevention and support for women across Europe.
