The 5th Plenary Meeting of the HEART project took place on May 14–15, 2025, in a hybrid format, organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and chaired by Dr. Nikos Bakalos from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). The first day of the meeting focused on updates across key work packages, including user selection methodology, clinical validation, statistical and socio-economic analyses, urban planning strategies, and communication and exploitation activities. The agenda concluded with presentations on coordination, ethics, and project sustainability.
On the second day, all partners gathered for an on-site visit to the HEART demonstration area at Pedion tou Areos park in Athens. This interactive tour offered partners the chance to witness how the project’s solutions are being implemented in a real urban environment. The meeting successfully strengthened the consortium’s collaboration and reaffirmed HEART’s commitment to building healthier, more sustainable cities across Europe.
